To award a bid to Grondin Corporation in the amount of $341,327 for Smith Cemetery Expansion (capital project TM 2021-009), which is funded in the fiscal 2025 general obligation bond account (33310-47030).

Council approval of this item is required because;

 

a.                     The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(1) of the Charter.

Please see the bid results and memo from Mark Arienti, Town Engineer. The town has $750,000 bonded for this project and the low bidder is under budget.
