Title
To receive public comment and act on a renewal application of Rockan Abdulla d/b/a Windham Auto Recycling for a permit to operate a junkyard/automobile graveyard.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. Under 30-A M.R.S.A § 3753, the establishment, operation, or maintenance of an automobile graveyard, automobile recycling business or junkyard requires the issuance of a nontransferable permit from the municipal officers, and
b. Pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the Charter “[t]he Town Council, hereinafter called the ‘Council, shall be and constitute the municipal officers of the Town.’
III. Issue Summary.
All fees have been paid.
The public hearing notice ran in the paper on September 16, 2025.
