Title

To receive public comment and act on proposed amendments to Chapter 120, Land Use Ordinance, Articles 8 and 9, to support the Town’s Site Law Delegated Review Authority application and address DEP’s request for clearer local review standards by adding blasting review requirements to Article 8, Site Plan Review, and Article 9, Subdivision Review and adding solid waste compliance references from Chapter 192, Solid Waste.

II.                     Basis for Council Action.

 

Council approval of this item is required because;

 

a.                     Section 107 of the Land Use Ordinance (Chapter 120 of the Code of the Town of Windham) states “After review and recommendation by the Planning Board, this chapter may be amended in accordance with the Town Charter.”

 

III.                     Issue Summary.

 

These amendments were also discussed at the Planning Board meeting of August 24, 2026.
