To appoint Emily Legere to the Planning Board for a two-year term to end February 15, 2028.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The Town Council, pursuant to Article II, Section 3C, is charged with appointing “[t]he members of the Board of Assessment Review, the Planning Board, the Board of Zoning Appeals, and the membership of such advisory committees as the Council may create,” and
b. Pursuant to §120-903 C. (3) of the Code of the Town of Windham, “when there is a vacancy, the municipal officers shall appoint a person to serve the remainder of the unexpired term,” and
c. The vacated Planning Board seat had a term expiration of February 15, 2028.
