Title
To receive public comment and act on a renewal application of Jeffrey Whitney for a permit to operate a junkyard/automobile graveyard.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. Under 30-A M.R.S.A. § 3753, the establishment, operation, or maintenance of an automobile graveyard, automobile recycling business or junkyard requires the issuance of a nontransferable permit from the municipal officers, and
b. Pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the Charter “[t]he Town Council, hereinafter called the ‘Council,’ shall be and constitute the municipal officers of the Town.”
III. Issue Summary.
All fees have been paid.
