To enter into executive session pursuant to 1 M.R.S. § 405(6)(E) for “consultation between the Town Council and the Town Attorney regarding the legal rights and duties of the Town Council.”

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The proposed article contemplates discussion of matters in executive session as permitted by statute, and
b. The Town Council is the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(I) of the Charter.

Pursuant to statute, this order requires a 3/5 majority vote.
