I.                     Council Action Requested.

Title

To award a bid for the purchase of a 2027 International HV507 SFA 4x2 Dump Truck with Viking Cives gear in the amount of $264,396.00, from Allegiance Trucks, capital expenditure (PW-2026-002), which was approved as part of the FY27 Bond.

 

Body

II.                     Basis for Council Action.

 

Council approval of this item is required because;

 

a.                     The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(1) of the Charter, and

b.                     The purchase requires Council approval in accordance with Section 5.4 of the Town of Windham Purchasing Policies (2024), as amended.

 

III.                     Issue Summary.

This purchase was budgeted at $315,000.
