To schedule a public hearing on a proposed “Car Wash Moratorium Ordinance” for 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a) Article II, Section 11(B) of the Town’s Charter requires that in regard to adoption or amendment of ordinances that “a proposed ordinance may be introduced by any member at any regular or special meeting of the Council. Upon introduction of any ordinance, the Secretary to the Council shall distribute a copy to each Council member and to the Town Manager; shall file a reasonable number of copies in the office of the Clerk and such other public places as the Council may designate…”
