I. Council Action Requested.
Title
To award a bid for the purchase of one (1) 2017 cab and chassis from Portland North Truck Center for $82,610.00 and related plow and sanding gear from Viking Cives for $70,544.00, for the total price of $152,154.00, such purchase to be reimbursed by the proceeds of a tax-exempt municipal lease-purchase agreement with annual payments to be made from capital equipment replacement funds, account 100-9110-44190.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(1) of the Charter, and
b. Council action is required because the order authorizes a purchase requiring financing under Section 5, Paragraph 4 of the Purchasing Policy adopted by order 09-105 on July 28, 2009.
