Summerfest Organizing Committee Charge.

The Council will review a draft charge for a Summerfest Organizing Committee. Summerfest, and Julyfest before it, has been organized with the tireless efforts and invaluable contributions of volunteers over the years, but has never had any kind of formal status. In order to ensure the continuation of the event, and to clarify the committee’s role with the Parks & Recreation Department, the Council will be asked to establish and adopt a charge for an organizing committee.
