Police Department Unmanned Aerial Systems: Presentation & Proposal.

Detective Gene Gallant and Sergeant Jason Burke, with the support of Chief Kevin Schofield, and with consultation of the town manager, have been working to develop an Unmanned Aerial Systems program and policy centered mainly on accident reconstruction.
Detective Gallant, Sergeant Burke, and Chief Schofield will review their work so far on components of a UAS program and policy. With the Council’s support, the program would be put in place with equipment acquired through the use of asset forfeiture funds.
