To award a contract for snow plowing services to Adam Copp Inc., for the period covering fiscal years 2018-2019, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, in the amounts of $16,110.50 for year one, $16,593.83 for year two, $16,593.83 for year three; an aggregate cost of $49,298.16.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(I) of the Charter,
b. Section 5 of the town’s purchasing policies requires Council approval for any purchase in an amount that exceeds the amount allowed in the annual operating budget, and
c. This order contemplates the approval of a multi-year contract that extends beyond the current fiscal year.
III. Issue Summary.
The proposed renewal of the snowplowing contract for the Forest Lake area with Adam Copp continues the practice of mirroring the per-mile price for the rest of the town’s contracted snowplowing services and aligns the Forest Lake contract dates with those of the contract for the rest of the town.
