A representative from the town’s rescue billing service, Medical Reimbursement Services of Windham, and the fire-rescue chief will discuss the town’s practices with respect to insurance, billing and fee structure, and collections.
In the FY 2019 budget, $600,000 in net rescue fees ($705,000 in revenue less $105,000 in uncollectible accounts) is expected to offset the operation of the town’s emergency medical services.
