To authorize the purchase of a brush fire truck from Greenwood Emergency Vehicles in the amount of $119,626.00 as described in a memorandum from Fire-Rescue Chief Brent Libby dated March 14, 2019.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. Pursuant to Section 5.4 of the town's purchasing policies "The Town Council shall approve and authorize any purchase beyond the amount provided for such purchase within the municipal operating budget or approved capital equipment replacement plan, and all purchases which are proposed to be funded through a lease-purchase agreement, the issuance of bonds or notes, or any other kind of credit financing".
III. Issue Summary.
The amount for this purchase (project FR-2019-001) included in the capital equipment plan is $120,000.00. Greenwood Emergency Vehicles was the lowest bid offered.
It is our intent to arrange a lease-purchase agreement for this expenditure.
