I. Council Action Requested.
Title
To approve the agreement with Portland Water District concerning the Depot Street water main and pump station projects, and to authorize the Town Manager to sign the agreement on behalf of the Town.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(I) of the Charter.
III. Issue Summary.
The Town has received a grant of $250,000 from the CDBG program which it will utilize towards the cost of the Pump Station Work. Portland Water District agrees to invoice the Town for the Pump Station Work as billed by the contractor and agrees to finance the remainder of the Pump Station Work costs and will assess those costs to the Town through its annual wastewater assessment.
