Title
To approve an agreement between the Town of Windham and the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) to issue a construction overlimit permit to the contractor providing crack sealing services on Route 115.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. The Council has the authority to enter into contracts as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to Article II, Section 3(I) of the Charter.
III. Issue Summary.
As part of MDOT’s proposed improvements to Route 115, the Town has been asked to enter into an agreement permitting the contractor(s) to cross municipal roads with overweight vehicles. Please refer to the attached copy of that agreement.
Project 18995.13 begins in Windham from Falmouth Road north to US Route 202.
