I. Council Action Requested.
Title
To decommission the Private Roads ad hoc Committee, and to express the Council’s profound gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the town and its residents for the work of the committee and all of its members.

II. Basis for Council Action.
Council approval of this item is required because;
a. According to Article II, Section 3(C) of the Charter, the Town Council has the authority to “[a]ppoint… the membership of such advisory committees as the Council shall create,” and
b. The committee being proposed for decommissioning was established by order of the Council.
III. Issue Summary.
This committee was created by Council order 18-118 on June 12, 2018 to “review the Town of Windham’s regulations with regard to the creation, extension, and improvement of private roads, and development along and accessed by private roads, and to make recommendations about changes to the Town’s regulations regarding the creation, extension, and improvement of private roads, and development along and accessed by private roads.”
